Hair Collage

As the story goes, my father was expecting his first child to be a girl. He purchased combs, hair bands and other “girly” items in anticipation. My birth dashed those hopes albeit momentarily. Although I wasn’t a girl, I had a full head of curly hair so those items were put to good use.

I recently dyed my hair burgundy red and got an idea to braid it and decorate with beads. My sister pulled that off really well and took really good pictures too!

This happened to coincide with the start of my AI-guided learning to improve my software engineering skills. The plan is to re-establish my fluency in Python. My first step was to build a CLI tool. I wasn't sure what it was going to be. But when I thought about making a collage from some of the pictures my sister took of me, I figured it'd be a really fun way to get back to Python.

Hence my simple stupid CLI tool -collage- which shells out to ffmpeg for image tiling.
